Artificial Whitewater Slalom Course for Experienced Paddlers!
The slalom course near the charming village of Želiv, not far from Humpolec, ranks among the toughest artificial whitewater courses in the world. Its concrete channel packed with obstacles has given many paddlers sleepless nights – even the seasoned pros hit these rapids with a bit of fear in their eyes! :-) But no worries – after plenty of upgrades, the course is now safe and more popular than ever among whitewater paddlers.
Trnávka hosts rafting competitions every year.
The Czech national slalom team regularly trains and competes here.
Twice a year, Trnávka opens its rapids to both pros and amateurs for open training sessions.
This course is not suitable for paddlers without a solid Eskimo roll. A swim here can get pretty rough.
